Well now I’m looking forward to the result of Barnaby’s “6 hours of blogging”!
I discovered Dabchick completely organically on YouTube a couple weeks ago, it’s awesome to see him connect with Adam. Hope to see more collaboration between the two in the future!
Was so excited when I saw a teaser last week that Barnaby was in the cave! The way he has tweaked those puppets so perfectly to achieve such a fluid and organic motion is just beautiful. Also great to see how Adam, who although he has been following Barnaby for so long, enthuses over these masterpieces the same way I did the very first time I saw them.
Oh my God Adam wasn’t kidding, With these puppets I totally didn’t see him or his hand or his arm all I saw was the puppet and I was amazed. At 9:45 when he rubs his nose this guy’s just showing off now.
Amazing! That is completely mesmerising work.
He called it an aardvark, but I think it’s more like an echidna.
A remarkable job!
Hee hee, I couldn’t stop noticing how Adam fluffs up his hair at the start, and the camera starts subtly edging most of his head out of frame, trying to keep only his expression visible — but Adam and Barnaby just keep on going, without anybody interrupting for a quick 30-second makeup/combing break, so after a while the camera just gives up and lets Adam back into frame in all his fluffy glory. ^_^
Never heard of Barnaby Dixon or Dabchick before…that was a hell of a rabbit hole! Totally in awe of the talent!
One of the most enjoyable videos that I have seen in quite some time. Innovation + whimsical humor = genius.
