So when is the hydraulic gimbal getting installed?
*A
THIS.
This is the most awesome thing ever
BUZZ
THE
TOWER
Haha, wonderful! And yes, it definitely needs a hydraulic gimbal 🙂
So he checked no luggage, doesn’t even have a carry-on. I assume Will Smith isn’t interested in how to take off or land this plane either?
I’d love to see Will and Norm trying to get this plane up all by themselves.
I hope there’ll be another video to see if Will or Norm could land the plane with Jim in the tower. It’d be a great comparison to a similar test by Adam & Jamie on Mythbusters.
I was hoping they’d go from cold start, but that would bore the piss out of most people.
Amazing what this guy’s done. Also crazy. Also I’m really jealous.
Somebody get the Giant Bomb Flight Club out here.
Awesome that you guys did a video of this! Also, just a remarkable cockpit. Has to be the best one I’ve seen, I think.
I have a little pit that I’ve been working on for a few years. Me and my father did most the work one summer and then it’s kinda been sitting there as my interest started waning. It’s a flight sim/racing sim generic pit. Seeing this video makes me want to break out the tools again. Maybe if I get some VR goggles with head tracking next year.. There’s something cool about sitting really snug and squeezed into a racing chair when doing simming, even if your view of the pit is completely obscured by a HMD.
Ha, nice try at the loop. Maybe an Immelman next time.
Great.
Fantastic. Jim seemed like a real nice guy too.
We need Drew Scanlon out there to put that sim through its paces!
The ultimate GB flight club experience.
Can’t believe Will didn’t ask him where the eject button was so he can turn it upside down and eject.
ahahahhaha oh norm
This is amazing!
As long as Drew can bring his notebook, they should be fine.
If Dave is involved, the sim will blow up
