Small-business, a 70+ year old serial inventor, in-house design and manufacturing, what is not to love about this?
Amazing, how do I make that my life’s path…
That was 10000x more fascinating than I was expecting!
Are we going to see Adam use these saws to make some more dove-tail joints? It would be good to see a comparison and his thoughts on it.
Great video, guys!
Now that you own a luthier’s saw, I suppose you’ll have to make a guitar, Adam.
Since I work for a waterjet manufacturer (Omax Corp.), I especially enjoyed the titanium birdcage saws!
Couldn’t agree more. I think I want to buy one just because I know what it does and how well it does it!
Alright, this was cool. I have one of those old jeweler saws and, the second I saw this, like the guy I was like ‘why didn’t someone else do this first?’ It’s amazing how simple it is when you think about it.
Those are just plain beautiful
I love the fact that there are handsaw otaku out there. When your focus is a tool as simple as the handsaw, you can really perfect it.
it’s almost sad that my favorite part of this video was that with no Will or Norm on camera, he got “Hi, I’m Adam from Tested.” I know it’s been a year, but it still makes me grin to think of how long it took him to get that down.
Great video! Wood is not a material I have much experience with, mostly because I live in a small apartment and prefer to do projects that don’t make a ton of mess. Cannot have sawdust all over everywhere. Anyway, very cool to see what the technology is for it these days.
That was so cool I love simple effective tools, I have a pegboard in my garage with nothing but hammers. Now excuse me I need to justify what I need a titanium cooping saw
Wow, that was wonderful! I really enjoyed that!
Thought to myself “Woodworking tools, eh? Oh well, I do enjoy Adam so I guess I’ll at least take a quick look, but.. meh.. this doesn’t seem terribly interesting to me at all. ” Boy, was I wrong!
It’s so awesome to get really wowed by something your previously had little to no interest in or even knowledge about.
Great work, guys! That was fascinating!
I have zero interest in this, but that video was still surprisingly cool to watch.
A friend of mine has one of the Jeweler’s saws that I have envied. This video was great to see where the tool came from and where it is developing.
It is satisfying to make a tool when you can in your own studio, but to use a well designed or innovative one is awesome. Thanks!
Small business making great tools. I have a crappy jewelers saw that I almost never use. It looks like a new saw is in my future. Thank you Adam
I’d love to see a video about people making jewelry with these things. That’s nuts.
