Zoidberg Jesus at Comic-Con!
We love going to Comic-Con, but have noticed that every year there are some picketers outside that take a little bit of the fun away from going to these fan events. We decided to bring the fun back by introducing them to our friend, Zoidberg Jesus.

One of the many many reasons I love you guys!
To quote Norm: “Sweet merciful jeebus!” That was hilarious! Thanks Frank!
Fantastic! Thanks Frank!
It seems that those religious picketers were pretty chill, compared to some I have encountered. Someone who went to comic-con would know better and I cam curious at how calm, or not, they were.
they were pretty chill, and didn’t get into anyone’s faces. even though we may not agree with what they were doing, we’re glad it was all kept light-hearted. even caught a few smiles!
Excellent! Glad you’re willing to venture into quasi-controversial territory with this, it’s hilarious.
That’s awesome. Wish all all the religious people who went to events were like that.
Frank, that was hilarious! More Zoidberg, more Frank! 🙂
also: Jibo, make me a sandwich! Jibo!!
Ah, that looked fun! I was at a work conference there a week before SDCC, only saw a couple of street picketers that I think were “warming up” for the big event.
This is the beauty of this country. They have the freedom to proselytize outside of a large convention like Comic-Con. As well as the fact that you have the freedom to poke a little fun at those same individuals.
Try doing that with a Mohammed Zoidberg in a Middle Eastern country, and see how well that goes over…
Pretty sure that guy in the yellow shirt is the same guy who posted a lengthy reply on a Tested-related reddit post (I think the cosplay gallery from this year, where the picketers were shown), about how they never antagonize anyone. Then five minutes later, someone replied with a video where the very same guy was shouting homophobic abuse at people walking in a Pride-march. Full-on nutter.
Frank wasn’t the only one poking them a bit either, when I walked by there was a dozen or so people with improvised posters doing a counter-picket next to them. laughing their asses off.
That was great. Best laugh I’ve had all day.
At least you didn’t get the real hardcore types. I’ve been around them before and I doubt they would have taken the joke as well as these apparently did.
I always lol at religious nutters with megaphones, do they really think they change peoples minds about that stuff, I hope not.
I really love the guys reaction at 0:50.
all hail zoidberg
Love it!
This is awesome. I was always annoyed that religious people did this this at comic-con. This is getting a lot of hate on Youtube but that seems to be the case with every video of tested’s. I think I won’t even look at the comments on youtube tested videos anymore, I will just come here.
Love it.
Good costume, fun idea and a bit of levity all around. The youtube comments for this video are insufferable though, belief in the almighty space lord doesn’t make you immune from some light hearted criticism.
The Lego-build teaser was a lot more controversial than this amongst the youtubers. I think a lot of religious people find picketing preachers just as insufferable as the rest of us do.
I don’t, but I think someone linked to it on the forums when it was posted, so you might be able to search for it? I’m pretty sure it was this year’s cosplay gallery.
I couldn’t stop laughing. So good.
Love it. Great work Frank!
