You guys really need to watch Battlefield Earth all the way through. It is AMAZING. Its not just that its bad but its SO bad and they are SO serious about it. They obviously threw piles of money and effort at the thing.
There must have been so many opportunities before/during/after production for someone to say “uh hey guys this is a huge piece of shit. We should totally bail on this” but somehow it still came out!
The whole time you just sit there shaking your head going “HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?!?! WHO LET THIS HAPPEN!?!?”.
Its great.

I am not hating on Will. But, given the circumstances that Norm is building under, I feel that he is playing the role of the underdog. So naturally I have to cheer for him..

Team Norm! I was just reading all the filth in youtube comments from the video teasing this series. One gem was Will mentioning at least 7 parts to this series!
I think a rule should be that anytime someone swears, they have to stop building for 30 seconds as punishment. Given how often swearing occurs, it will really make this race interesting!

I’d have to go with team Smith – Mostly because Will seems to take more time to actually enjoy the Lego.
Though if part 2 is any indication, Norm seems to be relaxing into the thing a bit more and more – Hope he doesn’t relax too much though. Grumpy Norm is fun Norm!

I think the real star of the show so far has been Joey and the awesome video work. I am glad Will finally caught that mistake it was driving me nuts but I think there might have been another one that he missed. Love the series, keep up the great work guys.
I hope that it stays neck and neck until the very end and that much shit will be talked until then.

I was expecting that watching Lego builds (at real-time speed) to be super boring, but actually, it works really well as background audio when you’re working on something… and then you glance over once in a while to see how they’re doing.
You get into that strange “I’m friends with Will and Norm” feeling even though they don’t actually know you exist. I get that feeling a lot from the Tested videos… Apparently Adam Savage and I are best buds… which is going to be really awkward if I ever meet him in person and he doesn’t know me. 😉
Next time any penalty should be served by taking shots of whiskey…
