Tested Builds: LEGO Sandcrawlers, Part 5
Spoiler: the marathon LEGO build does not get completed today. As an earlier setback comes to haunt one of our builders, another pulls ahead while energies are drained. Does Norm make it to watch the Arcade Fire? To watch and follow along with the build, sign up for a Tested Premium Membership by clicking here.

Someone get a shot of 5-Hour Energy!
Or some coffee. Whatever is handiest..
the music towards the end is awesome Joey
yay
Stuff gets turned upside down in this episode..
If you have parts left at the end of the build, do you get disqualified?
Good episode, however I do prefer those episodes with more repartee between Norm and Will.
Will, the instruction do show that you need 2 at the start of the instructions for the multi.
Before the first step, there is an image that shows you what you are building with a 2x next to it…
Has Norm put that front brace on upside down?
Will does not have those grey technics pieces sticking up…
Will just folded his pieces down from what I see? Dunno if they need to be up or down tho! Prob makes no difference, either that or one of them could be in trouble later (prob Norm) team Will!!!
What’s with the overlay of Will’s face onto Will’s papercraft? 15:21
yah I was wondering same thing?
I was also wondering what that was about, it’s going to be a problem when he has to turn the sandcrawler over…guess we’ll find out in a few minutes 🙂
Will. you should tight hard the parts..this is why you wast time.. 🙂
Though still good stuff, I think entertainment level follows the energy level a bit…
A couple of suggestions for any future Bricked:
Don’t record the whole week in a day – The show (at least to me) is not as much just the Lego as you guys interacting. If you get a bit tired and uninterested, the show tends to get a bit tired and uninteresting.
Re-introduce the challenges – The were silly, but silly and whimsical was part of the charm of the original Bricked.
Pitch not only person against person, but also technique against technique – Say, if one of you knoll and the other doesn’t, which is the most effective choice in the long run? don’t just speculate, try it out (so we don’t have to :))!
What the hell is that head..so funny man… Loooooollllll (15:10 mn)
Agreed. I would love details on this track. Really enjoyed it.
That music towards the end reminds me of the music that played as Space Ghost appeared at his desk on Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
Can’t stop watching. Love the Lego builds!
anyone else have trouble with the premium videos playback? they are always wonky and freeze up quite often…. normally i just hit the download link, which pops them up in a new window and play it from there with no problems… but its still rather frustrating
I was having that problem yesterday but so far not today.
21:02 “everything matters…” its like the beginning of an anti-metallica song.
I’m kinda expecting Norm to rage quit about ten minuets in.
They are native 1080, hit HD then select lower resolution.
The Krayt Dragon is hunted in Star Wars: The Old Republc. I’m playing through it again now that’s its available via the app store.
Tyco had some building blocks that were Lego compatible back in the late 80s/early 90s that were military. Can’t remember how they did their tank treads. Have to dig out my old kits.
Tim
In response to Will’s comment about Lego not doing warfare sets. No, Lego does not offer any sets with modern weapons. There is a guy that started a online store to fill this demand, he has all kinds of modern war Lego compatible pieces he has created. Check out his site here: http://www.brickarms.com/default.aspx
i doubt joey will read this. but the random will head here and there is awesome. makes me chuckle everytime.
Was it just me that thought, must be team rocket. When will said “what just blasted off”? Just me maybe my dad?
