  1. These look like really great kits. I haven’t make a model in ages!! I might just have to grab a model kit and get back into it again. 8]

  2. I love building Gundam kits. I’ve always wanted to build a Perfect Grade kit, but the 200 dollar price point is a bit out of my reach.

  3. You guys should have Adam make a really awesome display diorama as a one day build to put this guy on when its done!!

  4. Highly recommended. Looks great without paint and even though it mostly snaps together, the engineering behind them is amazing. Very satisfying build.

  5. Many of the books about customizing Gunpla are produced in Japan and are, obviously, in japanese only. I have a few of those and they are published with enough photos to still be useful to english speakers.

One excellent book I have that is in English is call “Scratchbuild Revolution” – great resource indeed. It is also published overseas but I did find one north american source: http://www.usagundamstore.com/collections/books/products/pre-order-scratch-buildrevolution-book-gundam-detail-builders-parts-modify-model

  6. There is another scale that Frank correctly mentions: the Mega Size which are 1/48 scale. They are huge – my RX-78-2 below is almost 39cm tall. Unlike the other grades, Mega Size are SUPER simple builds with very few parts as they are aimed at young builders, and most include some simple lighting. There are only I think five different kits in this scale, as Bandai discontinued the range after the first few releases (they still make them; they just have’t released any more, sadly). They are great fun to paint and weather!

  7. Frank… The Truth podcast, episode titled ‘The Last Job’. Maybe what you were thinking of at the end of this episode.

  8. Using your video for audio and my own pg zeta build for hd visuals.

Would really like this to be in hd already

  9. Hello Tested,

I just became a premium member and i have to say you guys Rock!

(Strand beest 🙂 ) Greetings from the Netherlands

  10. As a lifetime model builder (I am 63 years old), there is nothing more boring than watching a bumbling person put together a model – sorry

  11. Used to be able to dl the videos. What happened? Would be nice for offline viewing as I plan on going overseas trip at end of the year.

  12. The only AI non piloted robot I can think of in anime would be Medabots. Though thats more a tournament show vice a mecha.
