Tested Builds: Perfect Grade Gundam, Part 3
As assembly of this Perfect Grade Zeta Gundam resumes, we continue to be impressed by the amount of detail built into the kit. There’s so much that’s hidden under the armor! Thanks to Sean, Frank, and Danica for joining for this week’s build! (Follow along the rest of the week by joining the Tested Premium member community!)

Awesome stuff!
Had two places where the video stuttered to an almost complete stop, at approx 23 minutes and 27 minutes in. I skipped ahead 30 to 60 seconds and after a little bit, it started again.
robotech is where the guys are giants.*
Your not supposed to ship batteries by air so chances are they probably missed one or chanced it if it’s a weird type rather than forgot one.
It’s like how your not supposed to import silica bags or products with silica bags in the packaging but regulated. *more, regulated slightly more.
Love Danica’s Pantone T-Shirt
Mech battles coming.

I was waiting for 3 episodes for someone to break out the Gundham Style. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.
I was building my latest kit while watching this, its a 1/144 scale High Grade kit called the Messala which it is from the same Gundam Series as the kit they are building. Gundam Zeta (the anime) is my most loved series of Gundam and I love most the Mechs in the series so much so as this is my prized display of kits right now.
From Left to right, is the Qubeley, Messala, Gundam Mk II Advanced Hazel and Gaplant Hrairoo.
The two on the right are alternate versions of mechs in the series that but these version were never shown.
The Messala and the Gaplant also transform into fighter modes known as Mobile Armour. However I have never succeeded in transforming the Gaplant Hrairoo as I fear breaking it, and the Messala I LITERALLY just finished building.
A sense of scale most of these are just about the size of the leg they finished in this episode.
in terms of removing the sprue nubs, if you sand them down properly, you won’t get the little white spots
I would love to see them do a Master Grade Vr-KA. Even though the PG are very laborious the 1/100 MG version KA are extremely difficult to build because they have just as many runners as the PG and have just as fine detail if not more at just smaller scale.
Gundam had normal size people Macross (aka Robotech) had the giant aliens
I love the design and complexity of these kits, but I just can’t get into the Gundam lore :). Are there any comparable non-Gundam kits available from Bandai or other manufacturers?
I am pretty sure you guys didn’t plan on this but i have watched this while fighter jets – helicopters were flying over my apartment trying to overthrow a government (Turkish coup attempt of July15-16th). Over all those sounds of explosions, sonic booms and machine guns, i needed some normal sounds to keep me sane-calm and this did the trick. Just wanted to let you know.
