Premium: Adam Savage in Conversation with Neill Blomkamp
Along with the Alamo Drafthouse theater in San Francisco, we hosted a screening of one of our favorite films: District 9. After the screening, Adam interviewed director Neill Blomkamp on stage to talk about the making of the film, his design aesthetic, and what kind of projects he’s interested in working on. (This full interview is available for the Tested Premium Member community now, and will be released later on YouTube. What a beautiful interview. I have a whole new respect for District 9, and Neil which is hard to describe. He is so very well spoken of his work that it is hard to not appreciate it. This was awesome, thank you Adam.
That was awesome. Thank you!
This was great to watch, thanks for posting for those of us who couldn’t be there. Also thanks for sub-titling the audience questions.
Highly enjoyable.
I’d love to know which films Adam was referring to when he mentioned that Hollywood isn’t averse to writing a film while shooting.
That was really cool. Thank you for posting this!
Very good interview Adam, interesting comment on not watching the news I have to admit I am the same , years since I watched it , mmmmmm
Well done. This is exactly the type of thing that I hoped for from Tested Premium content.
Film mentioned at the end. The one they couldn’t show:

Thanks to Tested and Niell for bringing us this. It was enthralling. Adam is a great interviewer.
I remember watching Alive In Joburg for the first time and being stunned and loving the aesthetic (and that feeling was consolidated with District 9).
This makes premium worth every cent, Thanks so very much. One of my favourite movies of all time and this was the best DVD Disc #2 special features content EVER!
Amazing interview!
Thank you very much!
Adam, Thanks for saying you don’t watch the news anymore. I thought it was just me that had changed. I don’t think all the hype serves any purpose now except to keep everyone agitated and depressed. It is part of the problem not the solution.
Great interview.
Great interview, but I’m bit annoyed that I’ve paid for a premium subscription and Tested put it on youtube anyway? ? ?
Did I see this interview on youtube?
Your streaming quality is seriously lacking, my membership renewal is in grave jeopardy. These errors and breaks in steaming are unacceptable. Youtube was much more reliable.
