I did a quick google… the kit norm is making is $750 USD.
Well, it was just $600 when the run was announced three years ago :p
Considering Adam has something like two dozen kits and a replica made from real guns (and a bunch of spare parts from said guns) it’d be fun to see how much he has spent over the years (not counting the hundreds of hours in research). 😀
It’s a hell of a nice kit. Wish I could slip into the cave and borrow one of the dozen.
I’m sure the prices of the Bulldog and Steyr are inflated by all these RPF members 🙂
mine will we 3D printed since the metal one is way to expensive
I was just listening to the episode and adam pulling the trigger like that made me jump like 10 feet.
Love the videos, I have a Coyle Blaster built and a Tomenouske ( the same version Norm is building) waiting to get finished, Have you guys considered using 360′ cameras for these builds? I think they would really enhance the videos and allow the view to focus on specific parts of the build
To answer the question – Yes it is quite possible to field strip and re-assemble most modern firearms blindfolded. Difficulty depends on the specific gun.
That’s what they originally sold for… They appear to be long since sold out. Secondary market is more like $2000.
Cheers.
Steve
I’d love to see a build where Norm builds a cool model kit and Adam builds a model from scratch. They could both do space ships or something.
“Slotted head machine screw M3L5… uhhhhhhh….” I know that feel. I laughed.
I’d love to get my hands on one of these, but they’re SO expensive (and so sold out…)
Cannot describe how much I covet even an inaccurate kit of something like this. My budget only allows for vicarious living through Tested, though.
Does anyone have any pictures of how the second trigger is supposed to be assembled? The instructions are really bad and you can’t see what they are actually doing in the video. Thanks.
