First I was like. Number 4!? But then again Excavator been a while since 😀
I’d like to note that the audio on this video and the previous video is low.
I had that pneumatic backhoe that Sean was talking about when I was a kid! Was my favourite kit ever.
Oh and I caved in and bought this excavator kit a few weeks ago after seeing how awesome that first part of the build looked >_>
Looking forward to starting it but I have a huge list of other stuff I ought to be getting on with!
(*psst*… backhoe)
Glazed over eyed Simone! Adding nothing to the conversation. Love it!
fave adhesive: hide glue! i like its properties a lot – it’s strong, it’s removable (important in quality woodworking: the ability to take joints apart for replacing broken parts), it has this very nice feel to it at the end of its working time window, when it starts cooling down and gelling. also, it’s a simple and natural product that’s been around for ages. and the process of using it is beautifully ritualistic.
great episode! I loved the airplane reference haha
That look Simone gives at 5:22 is priceless
Simone, You should totally work with Lego Mindstorm EV3 for Lego robotics. You can make lots of crazy robots with that. I’d love to see what you come up with.
My favorite adhesive is Blu-Tack, it’s so versatile, removable and you can sculpt with it too
Do you have any more episodes of the LEGO Excavator set? I can’t wait to see more of this LEGO with Friends build!
Riding on a buss watching on my iphone with earbuds, volume on MAX and I still can’t make out whats being said 95% of the time!
I think Simone mixed up side bitch with backhoe 😛
What’s with the audio? Even on full on iPad even with cans on it sounds muted. 😔
We got inspired by the early episodes and did the build… https://vimeo.com/202552234
Tons of fun 🙂
Favorite adhesive is the Tesa 61395 double sided tape. It’s perfect for most materials, but metal, glass and plastics in particular. It is very very thin and is very durable.
