Let’s Build: Codename Colossus Robot, Part 1
We’re super excited to build an awesome toy robot this week! This is the Codename Colossus, a mechanized toy designed and produced by Michael Sng (aka Machination Studio). We first met Michael at New York Comic Con, and backed his project when it launched on Kickstarter. And this week, Jeremy, Sean, and Norm are going to build it!

Soooooo jelly! I want one!
When you first put that comic con video up, I was in awe of this magnificent walker bot. That awe isn’t gone. It’s 40k Imperial Guard with extra steampunk and a side of divine inspiration.
And what Frank said.
Wow, just checked the Kickstarter page for this model, I can’t wait to see the finished product!
I’m getting ready to start assembling my kit so I’m interested to see what modifications the team make to the kit.
In 2016 Tested posted a video of Adam interviewing the maker about this at New York Comic Con.

Ok that was awesome. Now I want one.
You guys would be able to use more of the space more easily, and would be easier to frame for the camera, if you had the table facing the other way.
edit: Also, more room for the guys. Norm is squished. Sit on the outside of the L.
The scale model/miniature kickstarter pipeline has always been super smooth.
Digging into the list of failed tech kickstarters kinda surprised me.
fyi: Not being a fan of waterslide decals is generally a symptom of not letting them soak either enough or too much (wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a visual guide somewhere detailing the difference.) and not using a clear coat to seal them in.
Jeremy was totally checking out Norm’s work of connecting the cables at the end 😉
