Nope, not for me. 🙂 I never really understand why companies bring these things out if it isn’t even good at the basic requirement of having good-ish tracking. Maybe it would’ve been better with less fancy graphics and more cpu power towards tracking..? And with such a basic thing not working well, 200 Dollars is a lot of money I think. It will probably sell, but won’t be something that sticks, people aren’t very willing to get version 2 if the first wasn’t anywhere near good and that’s bad for the AR/VR momentum I think. I’m much more willing to pay double that and have good tracking.
I picked one up last week and have had a chance to use it a couple of times since then. I really enjoy the experience and I would have rather spent my money on this than Battlefront II any day of the week. While this is my first AR/VR experience, I have noticed some lag as you mentioned in the review, however the game is well worth the enjoyment. Ultimately, I hope they work out some small bugs and more is on the way for AR like this or even better. Thanks for the review guys.
