The Madmen character is Pete Campbell and I would say he used to be a prick/villain but has transformed to being like-able half the time.

Threshold is the codename for a huge wave of Microsoft updates currently planned for Spring 2015. Stuff that’s part of Threshold; Windows, Phone, Server, Onedrive, Outlook. The new version of Windows will likely be called Windows 9, and there are rumblings of a public preview for later this year.
Euro Truck Sim 2 + DK2 = Octobercast fun!
I will be sending in stickers and pins! Everything is all ready to go, just need to find the stamps…..
Holy crap! Norm knows Walt Williams? You guys have to get him on sometime, that dude is amazing. Spec Ops was one of the most engaging things I’ve ever experienced, video game or not.
I raced Solar Powered Cars through high school….we would average 35-40mph and cover around 500-600 miles over three days. Now of course we weren’t studying every inch of the ground we covered!
Shit, no archive of OG octobercast? 🙁
Thank you for sharing that Youtube link..
I’m not the guy so made the Raiders of the Lost Ark/Google comment, but I am one of those people who was ALSO watching it and googling about it at the same time!
Awesome, I watched it live, but one day I would like re-watch it!
Thanks I just watched all of the 2013 Octoberkast. Will start watching this one today. Funny how the first minute of the OG starts out with saying “today is iPhone 4s launch day”.
DJI S900 multirotor is $1400-3800, depending on configuration (gimbal, flightcontroller)
Are you ok? Your breathing sounds harsh. The same goes for Norm’s. Did the dry rot from the old Whisky Media office get to your lungs?
this is only a test hates every software (code)name ever.
If you want something not as expensive as the XRGB, I’ve been using this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00988GMLG
It says “PAL to NTSC” but I think they’re only calling it that due to the SCART input which was never used here in the US.
You do need to pick up a SCART cable for your system, but it’s fantastic. There is very little to no processing/input lag and the colors look great because of SCART rather than the old RCA cables (no color bleed).
or had to travel 34 millions miles by rocket and survive a (controlled) crash landing before hand, lol!
Non-human authors cannot gain copyright under US law.
So in spite of a lot of what a lot of news-outlets are saying wikimedia does not claim that the monkey owns the copyright, but that no one can claim copyright and that the photo is in the public domain.
Kinda sounds like Norm is doing massive bong rips and Will is having trouble with his dentures. Lots of lip smacking and sudden, deep inhalations. You guys recording at lunchtime or somethin?
yeah I’m not usually one to complain about stuff like this but the lip smacking and other mouth noises were kinda over the top this episode for some reason.
Watch the video and find out….
Guys… If your going to be getting up early and playing with Adam in the morning might I suggest drinking some BBOTE. You guys were a little sluggish and filled with “dramatic pauses” this podcast.
*For those who are uninformed BBOTE = Black Blood of the Earth
Norm took way to long (like ten minutes of ums and uhs and both of them pausing to google something) to get to his Bioshock story. These guys need a third.
(Spoiler: Norm’s underwhelming rambling pitch is that Bioshock should take place underground before the 1915 World’s Fair. Yep, that’s it.)
I can’t comment on subtitles and the like but using Plex + Chromcast has been my goto media streamer since my Boxee started to choke and die.
Also what was the app mentioned for library management? The only reason I haven’t totally gotten rid of Boxee is because managing the library in Plex is a huge pain in the ass and despite going with naming convention about 10~15% of my library isn’t visible.
I know I’m late on this, but I am inventing a device that uses contact less charging and the stated efficiency depends on the system. But for a Qi or Qi-like system, stated efficiency at 1mm is 70%-75%
Really will… Is it bananas?
