Studio scale replica builders are a special breed of modelmakers, painstaking recreating the models using the exact materials, parts, and paint as the original filming miniatures. Steve Neisen and Mike Salzo are such builders, and they share with us their studio scale Slave I that’s constructed using rare model kits that would’ve been on ILM’s modelmaking shelves.
