Simone and Norm Tour Comic-Con 2016!
The Tested team strolls through the massive Comic-Con exhibit hall in our annual walkthrough of the show! It’s Simone’s first Comic-Con, and we make sure to stop by the Star Wars, Weta Workshop, and LEGO booths to gush over costumes, collectibles, and artwork. Haha funny how Norm totally didn’t go with that. 🙂 But it’s exactly what I would fear a bit from a Con like that. Also, price has been a thing I’ve read in a few places now, never expected it to be that expensive AND have all the ads there.
If there was any justice in the world, Conan should have turned to camera and shouted ‘Norm talked to me!’

Ok Simone is slowly growing on me as a new (and good addition) to Tested….What makes me say that..I like her observations/running color commentary of being someone new to Comic Con…as well as anything else Norm, Adam and other old hands of Tested take for granted…Keep it up the good work Simone

if you didn’t love Simone already, this video will surely get you pretty close.
Also, judging from her interaction with the artist that made the snake skeleton, I want to see loads more video’s of Simone interviewing artists about their work. She was so genuinely interested! 🙂

So next year’s Comic Con, Norm has to accidentally run into John Oliver, right? That’s the trifecta.
I am highly impressed that the comments are supportive of Simone rather than attacking the fact that she is new to the world. While watching the video I was really worried that the comments would turn to the usual men-attacking-women-for-stupid-reasons trope.

It’s been great getting to experience SDCC through the eyes of a first-timer thanks to Simone. I would love to see Simone’s costume critiques become a regular spot for the cons she attends for Tested. That would be excellent.

That was great! I really liked the pairing of Norm and Simone and their different reactions and dialogue. It would be great if you guys both went to DragonCon.
Comic Con or Hot Topic convention?
I’m so happy that Simone came to us! She’s a great match with Norm, and she brings a new perspective on things. Yey us!
Just Love the twist Simone puts on tested, still sad about loosing Will but this makes the future look bright.
