In this first episode of our behind-the-scenes series, Adam tours the massive set of the Dreadnought as it’s being built, painted, and weathered to life by the production team in preparation for filming!

I wonder if movie makers ever feel bad about not being able to match the level of visual arts in their movies.
I watched Prometheus all the way through only because of the great art.
The writing, the plot line and consistency of the characters was abysmal at best.
Money can buy great visuals but it can’t improve bad writing.
It’s something you just have to learn and work on… and it’s fairly low budget.
I watched Prometheus 9 times in the theatre. i guess its like the old saying, “a beautiful thing is never perfect”. i am jaw dropped watching this… like CineFX times a thousand. so lucky we get to see this!!!
But I am still looking forward to someone making a scifi series based on the work of Georgia O’Keefe…
That is a beautiful thing! I’m impressed with your ability to keep the project under wraps for so long. I knew what the lace was immediately! But I kinda cheated, since I recently visited some trim stores in LA. 😉
