Adam is obsessed with movie armor, and he finally has a full set of armor made by the incredible craftspeople of Weta Workshop. This Alliance Knight armor was made for the movie Warcraft, and is part of many pieces of armor and beautiful props going on auction. Adam is awestruck by the detail here!

A question about disclosure here… are these really “Adam’s” or are they borrowed from the Prop Store?
Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing these things, but it always seems a little weird that your video descriptions portray them as Adam’s pieces, when you also say they’ll be auctioned off soon…
Would be nice to have a bit of clarification yes, but to me it looks pretty clear (I think). The armor is made by Weta Workshop and will be auctioned. He received them to wear and display, ofcourse as a bit of an advertisement to the auction. I didn’t see “payed content” mentioned, so that would be nice to know. My guess would be they know each other so well, it would be a free thing just for fun and a bit of exposure to the auction – a win win situation.
I signed up for this auction weeks ago, I have never done one before. I’m nervous and excited at the same time!
My money’s on that they gave them to him or he bought them maybe with advance notice with the intent of sharing in time to advert the auction.
Its smart marketing by prop store and glad they did. Adam’s clearly not a Warcarft fan but can appreciate the theme and detail.

Now Adam just needs a stormwind tabard for the Stormwind Guard costume.
Not really the knight costume, the knights, like the Paladins, tended to use hammers in the older games. The guards and footmen were the ones with swords.
In the past Adam has mentioned that some of the props he shows off for Prop Store’s auctions are actually the ones up for bidding, so they get sent back. I think the past few times Adam has not said that, and I assume that’s because he was gifted them as part of the promotion he gives their auctions, or that he does actually purchase them at a discounted deal.
Am I the only one who watch this videos two times? One for the main content and the other one for the background tools? 🙂
Y’know, I’ve wondered something similar. So often he says “I’ve just got some new props in from Prop Store (or insert other auction house here) and I have no idea what they sent me!” It always seemed like he was just getting free stuff for being who he is, but if it’s to reach a broader audience as an enthusiast who encourages business, then I can understand that a little more.
