This is fantastic info, thanks guys!!
Perfect timing. I just tried to shoot some video in the workshop for the very first time (first time anywhere, not just the workshop) and you just answered all the questions I’d come up with!
And in case anyone is wondering, yes, my footage is predictably terrible, the audio especially. Learning to edit is also a steep learning curve. I like the idea though and I’ll keep trying.
Very helpful. Thanks
I have heard the wonders of spun/silk diffusion, but have yet to pick some up. How does parchment paper compare to silks or diffusion cloth? I’ve heard some people like them for LED diffusion, and I messed around with some a bit on a fresnel for a little photo shoot with pretty good results.
Edit: Forgot to say, great content as always, always love to see what you’re working on behind the scenes!
As someone who vary rarely shots video, but works with still image renderings, I would LOVE some insight into what you’re looking for when you’re doing color grading. I feel like you’ve touched on it a couple of times in the past, but some videos getting into the nitty-gritty of color grading, color temps, etc just like Adam etc do on weathering etc would be really awesome.
