Adam Savage’s Favorite Tools: Handheld Sheet Metal Brake
For makers who use any kind of sheet metal, this is an important tool: the handheld sheet metal brake. It’s basically a pair of pliers purpose-built for bending thin sheet metals. Adam has three pairs of these at different angles, and use them more than you’d think. They’re fantastic for getting nice flat bends on small tabs of metal!

Never seen a tool like that before. Things that I learn here….. Thank you Adam. ありがとうございます。
got one back in the 80’s when i worked for an oil company installing hot air furnaces.
Thanks! I got one after looking at this managed to bend 2 mm 500 series aluminium. Too cheap to get two but if you treat it like a clamping anvil and use something like delrin to hammer the corner you can get pretty tight bends
