Tested Presents Incognito, a Celebration of Cosplay at Comic-Con!
It may not surprise you that Tested is going to be at Comic-Con again this year, but we’re thrilled to announce that we’re also going to be hosting a very special event in San Diego that week. On Friday evening, we’ll be taking over a venue in downtown San Diego to celebrate cosplay, prop making, and pop culture with Adam and friends. This will be a rare chance to see some of Adam’s costumes and props firsthand, along with the debut of an amazing prop that Adam has just completed. There’ll also be food, drinks, giveaways, and some surprises. Tested Premium Members will get priority access to RSVP and get in the door. We’ll have many more details as we get closer to Comic-Con, so stay tuned!

I would love to go, but I will be stuck up in the bay area doing a lot of work.
I would love to go! In fact i RSVP’d an got my confirmation. What this page fails to mention is that it is a 21plus event. I know that is not an issue for most of you, but i was pretty excited and started planning my comic con trip around this. Aaaaand i cant go, because im 19. Would of been nice to know that up front.

It starts at 9pm and they’re serving alcohol, should be pretty obvious no? The drinking age in the States is 21 right?
we’ll try to find a way to get Tested members under 21 in the door to see the costumes and props, maybe before the party officially starts. Stay tuned.
RSVP is a guaranteed ticket, which is why we’re only allowing 2 for members right now.

This might sound like a dumb question, but does one have to be going to comic con in order to attend this event? I ask because I’m a local who cannot yet afford attending SDCC. Darn those college costs!

I just became an annual premium member to attend this event. And that’s saying a lot, as I’m not even a premium member at Giant Bomb, and I’ve been listening to their podcast for about three years longer than this one!
Speaking of GB, I hope Brad S. shows at this event. I want to get him so drunk that the podcast recounting their 2014 SDCC visit is a 2 hour horror story. 🙂
BTW, I apologize in advance for smelling like ass. We’re camping out Thursday night for Hall H on Friday because we’re retarded.

They closed the Premium RSVP at midnight on July 22nd. You can still go to the party, you’ll just have to wait until 9PM for general admission instead of the early-entry at 8. 🙂
