Woo!!! Week of build!
Great intro Will.
I have to admit the kit looks better so far than I had anticipated, and the added books seem to add a LOT. However, the building itself seems to be quite meager for 15USD per issue :/ Also weird that those throttle levers and yokes are not glued in place, they seem wobbly. And the weathering mismatch is very disappointing 🙁
Please keep this bi-weekly! Don’t get everything out each month, this is fun.
If the premium membership wasn’t already worth it, it is now. This build is awesome! I am really looking forward to the coming months and the possibility of seeing Adam’s kit. Keep up the GREAT work, Tested!
oh Man! I can’t wait for next month…..This is just great and funny.
Ah yes! Adam is a specialist on weathering, you guys need to bring him up on “one” of the next Falcon build.
Norm trying to give parenting advice is priceless!

This reminds me of M*A*S*H, where Radar O’Reilly smuggled a whole Jeep out of Korea piece by piece each month to his family back home…
I think I am gonna do this when I get my new address in July!
Perfect premium content, let the non-premium jealousy ensue. This is so much better than being the last sibling with leftover Halloween candy!
Watching this is so much better after 3-4 drinks. Will is hilarious!
God damn it Chan!!
Follow the instructions 😛
Speaking of the Assault Gunboat, I 3D modelled an Action Fleet scale, SLS printable one not too long ago 🙂
The Gunboat is a damn fine ship, isn’t it Will? 🙂
I am so hanging out for this to become available here in Australia, I just sent an email to De Agostini’s local distributor. I will be crushed if they don’t bring it out here.
I just ordered myself a kit. I have no experience with modelling or painting models, but F**K IT, it’s the goddamn Millennium Falcon.
You guys should buy a ton of these! http://www.amazon.com/Fascinations-Metal-Earth-X-Wing-Model/dp/B00MOVGGRE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433337244&sr=8-1&keywords=metal+earth+x-wing
this is great therapy…i have absolutely no space for the falcon in my house.
I like that it seems not to have any real fiddly bits…..So far.
I would set up a large bin for this project and keep everything inside so nothing gets lost. Been There, done that.
Never liked these mags here in the UK. They’ve always been overpriced and sometimes end suddenly with either the publisher going bankrupt or cancelling the project due to not enough people subbing. Not forgetting how overpriced it is.
Also, possibly unintentionally, this seems like it’s an attempt to keep people subbing for at least 2 years otherwise they won’t get to see the build.
Although slightly object to the build I hope Norm doesn’t do what he did with his Lego Super Star Destroyer 🙂
Anybody else have a problem viewing this? About halfway through the playback quit and I got “Invalid Content Specified. Error #2048”, and it won’t reload.
never mind, it came back. But it happened about 18 minutes in. very odd.
Did someone mention a race? Haha.
I can’t wait to see this thing come together. Thanks for another great build!
Found this on LEG GODT via Gizmodo:

MiniFig Scale MF. Do I smell a Star Wars MF-LEGO crossover build?
Did the mail-person come yet? Did the mail-person come yet? Did the mail-person come yet?
Norm, I said to my wife “Our five year old could build this with me, it would teach him a lot of stuff!”
she said “Are you out of your gourd! You’re not letting him anywhere near a model you spent £600.00 on!”
I said “Oh Yeah, that make sense.”
Love this! I am also building this kit here in the UK so I am ahead of you. Just FYI to correct you on UK subscriptions – we too get four weekly issues a month, delivered all at the same time once a month. However, we also have the option of buying the magazines one by one without subscription from newsagents (but there is never a guarantee that the newsagent will have the latest issue in stock, and non-subscribers don’t get any of the freebies). Also, don’t worry Norm – you are incorrect, UK subscribers DON’T get a Han Solo figure for the cockpit – AFAIK there are no figures provided for this kit, other than a 1/6 scale Han Solo figure that you also should get in the next few issues as a free gift 🙂
so cool literally signed up just for this lol and the slave 1 build 😉 I really wana order it from newzealand is it possible does anyone know? cheers
imIin nz and they said no was not too happy
the Oz distributor said they won’t know until de Agostini offer it to them. I guess we have to hope that it’s not so popular in the US and UK that they run out of stock. I guess we’ll find out in 6 months or so. So frustrating. 🙁
This build is the reason I subscribed, it is absolutely hilarious. I can’t wait for the next video… I hope Adam helps you guys paint it.
Im looking for a nice quality build of a AT-AT and perhaps a AT-ST in the same scale. Where would find on of these? No more than 5 inches tall. And it must be in some sort of metal.
Ordered! Can’t wait to start building!
The tension between you feels really thick as Norm is trying to talk about parenting.
What happend to the studio scale model of the millenium Falcon build?
