Tested Builds: Stop-Motion Animation, Part 3
Frank, Sean, and Norm finish up their first stop-motion short depicting a lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Animating the scene is a painstaking process, but we’re having fun and learning along the way! (Follow along the rest of the week by joining the Tested Premium member community!)

I think at the end of this, the biggest flaw will be the timing. All their estimates on how long each thing takes are too short and fast. Ideally they need to breathe and pause at various moments. There needs to be some figurative commas and periods in their sentences. At the moment there’s no punctuation.
Having said that, they may surprise me.
Hey Guys, This was a great idea for a build week. I’ve really got the bug to do this sort of animation. It ties in with learning the classic Disney style of handdrawn animation and trying to apply the lessons you learn about timing and rhythm into other types of animation.
I went to buy the software and its $300 USD. (I’m Canadian.) Norm, I’m wondering if you guys can work out any sort of discount for Tested members to save a few dollars by mentioning TESTED.
What do you think?
