Tested in the High Arctic, Day 4
A short check-in today as we take an excursion to the sunny town of Uummannaq in northwest Greenland. Norm calls out a little bit of the landscape, including the sled dogs that blend into the hills.

It’s amazing how similar the village is to norwegian coastline settlements. Same colours and same granite and lack of trees.
I think Gold is Command (TOS).
Just an Amazing trip!
BTW Norm. Never talk Shist at a Gniess party. It’s just something you take for Granite. Lol……geoscience humor.
Norm,
How long did it take you to recover from the Jetlag? I know that being on the other side of the world/top of the world is one thing, but having only like 2-3hours of nighttime HAD to get to you-
not too bad, actually! we had curtains in our rooms to block out the light, and it was only 2-3 hours ahead of PST for the duration of the trip.
the most difficult thing to adjust to was looking out the windows of the ship’s bar at 10-11pm and still seeing the sun setting. it made getting up to go to bed that much more difficult–we ended up having many late nights because there was essentially no night at all.
@ Awesome- glad it wasn’t too tough on you guys-
Did you guys do what Adam did on his road trip and get a record of where you were on the map day-to-day? I’m sure the premium guys would love to see that- Make an Indiana Jones type recap montage- clips of drone footage and an overlay on a map of your adventure. That would be so ridiculous.
Glad you guys enjoyed it- looks like a blast.
Fun fact: the wife of the actor who plays Jaime Lannister on GoT is from this town. #wikipedia
Gold in TNG was for Security and Ops! Science was Teal in both TOS and TNG!
