LEGO with Friends: Patrick Norton, Part 2
We continue our week of LEGO with Friends by starting a new set to work on with Patrick Norton of TekThing. This LEGO Maersk Container Ship is beautiful, and a great kit to collaborate on–as long as someone likes applying stickers! Plus, lots of talk of cable cutting strategies. Follow along with with us by signing up for a Tested Premium Membership here!

Shoot, I’m going to have to get a better job just so I can watch this.
The communing robin and Maltese Falcon at about 20 minutes in made me smile when I noticed them 🙂
So different and yet so similar.
yes! that was definitely intentional 🙂
A whole episode of knolling!?!? I wanted to jump through the screen and start putting stuff together lol! great podcast though…
Mickey Mouse is still actively used by Disney in the wonderful/awful* kids show Mickey Mouse Club House.

WOW flash back central. I remember watching Leo and Kate way back in the ZDTV days then the switch to Patrick. Most answers back then were “Format your hard drive and reinstall Windows …” BTW Patrick I finally built a computer from scratch a couple of years ago, you Leo and Kate always encouraged home builds and I’ll be damned if it didn’t boot to Windows install on the first try…well after I figured out that power switch issue! Good to see you sir.
Seed bombs….hmmmm…….. Might have to makes some up! LOL!
I haven’t watched this yet so maybe the video explains but is there a part 1 somewhere I am missing?
Was posted yesterday and has dropped to page 2. It is not premium locked so does not appear on the Premium page. http://mdvip-tested.md-staging.com/art/lego/490988-lego-friends-patrick-norton-part-1/
Disneyland as an adult is the BEST. There is so much more to experience than just the rides. I can spend a day from park open until 6 or 7 pm on Main Street USA alone and be perfectly happy and entertained.
Awesome, thanks.
Oh man I’d pay top dollar to assemble Lego with Will & Norm. TOP DOLLAR.
Why can’t I change video quality from auto?
I wasn’t able to either. I just thought it was due to my internet being so crappy this morning.
I’ve never been able to change it from Auto on this player either, and it really bugs me on the fine detailed videos like sculpting and soldering, because especially in those the two modes it chooses are on either side of being able to see the fine detail and not. And it alternates like twice a minute. And there’s no download button, so I can’t just get it all local at good resolution and then play it. For a while I thought maybe Joey’s focus was alternatingly dodgy, but that’s not it (he’s better than that!), the fuzziness is synchronized over the whole video even when it’s split across multiple cameras.
My husband and I are REALLY enjoying the LEGO with Friends videos!!!
Norm is just barrelling into this!
thank you for pointing out how much money hunters actually pump into the system to save wildlife and wildlife habitat. it takes money to save wildlife not hugs and hunters pay the vast majority. bar none.
I know that this is late, but I am a new premium member so I am just watching this now. There is a great small steam engine railroad in the hills near St. Louis, MO. Here’s the link if anyone sees this and is interested: http://www.wfprr.com/
I have seen a mansion sized home built here in south bay entirely of those storage containers. It looked awesome.
