I never worked there personally, I have some friend there though, and attended a very niche high-energy conference there once. Crashed a party in the control room celebrating some luminosity milestone. Definitely surreal to chug a beer while standing next to all the beam control panels.

It was great to have Dianna as a guest – definitely do more videos with her in the future if you can.
It seems to me a shitty perpetual motion machine would just go faster and faster, since the carefully-made ones slow down and stop (or never get going in the first place). You might need to cheat.

love the CERN talk. I went last year with a group of fellow physics teachers and CMS was open so we got to see in the centre of it. Also the guide took us to CERN’s animal shelter, you should definitely film there!!! Taking some of my A level students (16-18 year olds) back this summer.
