Awesome video (as always). The the props from the movie look amazing. I can’t believe how many fine details they put into these pieces of armor.

The Great Wall was one of those movies for me that I didn’t care for much when I first saw it. But, it really grew on me upon subsequent viewings. It’s now developed into a “I watch it for the nostalgia” flicks.
I watched Great Wall in the theaters just to see the props Weta made, no other reason.

Man, the level of detail that the folks at Weta put into those pieces is incredible. Such a great source of inspiration for the rest of us to strive for. I’d love to put some of their work on my wall to stare at while I’m problem-solving on my own projects!

I have had the great privelage to visit the Great Wall and Xian, the home of the Terra Cotta Army. While there I did a couple of small sketches of individual warriors.
I know I would look awesome in that armour and think I am about the same size as Norm having spoken with him at SDCC
