  1. Hey great to get more details. Glad to see/hear about the video pass through being a possibility.

The Guardian system they said is manual setting up boundaries, which is what i’ve read also. In the video at around 11:30 it shows what looks like some form of surface / object detection taking place would bring it closers to handling a proper mix reality situation. Would be good to see if you can gleem anything more about what it might be capable of handling beyond just a basic boundary. In the Dead & Buried game clearly they lined the boxes up somehow…but someone mentioned on a review you could shoot the box and it would disappear but then how does that work if you are in the room where the box is inside of the area, did it flag up “blue grid” i’ve heard the guardian shows, or something else.

    Thanks guys

  2. No sure I understand your question. When you destroyed a box, it ghosted out for a cooldown and then resolved again. While it was ghosted, you could shoot through it and hit people hiding behind it. All players saw the ghosting. Don’t think it had anything to do with Guardian, which is just the outer boundary.

  3. Jerware. ok thanks, the review i read said they just disappeared no mention of ghosting.

Any idea about the pink object highlighting in the video at 11:30.

  4. As I see it, room scale is VR for the rich man who has his own “holodeck” space for VR. Sitting/standing is VR for the masses who struggle to carve out a 5’X7′ space in a bedroom to do VR. The more developers focus on room scale, the smaller a market they will have. Full disclosure, I have a Rift+touch and not a lot of space and I’m still looking for that wave of AAA games for the Rift. I’m all for developers looking a the future but there is a hungry market right now looking for content too.

  5. That’s from the main Oculus keynote, which you should watch. Think that pink highlighting is just a visualization for the audience.

  6. how good is the chromatic aberration correction? If it’s got the same lenses as the Go that would be a concern of mine.

  7. The Virtual reality is one of the best technology that is emerging with times. It is such a technology that includes a new type of devices going through which it will make you reach to a virtual world. You can also find your solutions over https://applesupportnumber.net/ and can also know more about this new concept.
