joey, this was really interesting! i was in the market for something dedicated & portable to take video footage with a while ago, but without any ‘prosumer’ needs. of course i looked at the household name items and their competitors, but ultimately went for something a couple price levels down. (it’s still a match box sized camera that does 4k at 60hz, what kind of magic is this?) so far, it has done all i need it to (handheld gym footage, stationary outdoor footage), but it’s interesting to see what you get for 3–4 times the money.
