This Is Only a Test 132 – Wow, It’s Late – 7/26/2012
On this week’s show, Norm strokes electronics, Will changes a camera, and a wild Brad appears. All that, plus the latest on the Nexus 7, the Sparrow sale to Google, Gabe Newell vs. Windows 8, meat, and another episode of fake outtakes. Enjoy!

The more Brad the better, he’s always a great guest!
Norm looked like he was either composing a digital symphony, or hacking the planet the way he was touching all those devices in front of him.
Yay a brad episode! Always appreciated.
I am pretty sure Norm is the Manchurian Candidate!
Yes, Brad! also I use “rsync” in terminal for my backup. Apple-script baby!!
I use the mouse wheel click to open links in a new tab, and close existing tabs.
I have the same plastic grinder attachment. The plastic portion has split in 2 places after about 1 year of use. Before that, I had one of those cheap cast metal hand-grinders. That was an utter failure.
I guess I’m going to have to try something fancier.
I think will mentioned having to search for the control panel…. if you right click where the start menu used to be (bottom left corner) you get a quick access menu including things like the control panel.
Will, there already is a Gmail iOS app, and it has push notifications. It is however basically there html5 web version with a few tweaks. It would be nice if they redesigned it.
I think Brad’s the only eligible replacement for Gary, love it!!
I miss the Whiskey days of ol’ … such a great bunch of dudes..
Brad!

Next time you’re re-installing Windows, you should use GameSave Manager (http://www.gamesave-manager.com/). It scans your entire system and backups every single save game you have, including your Games for Windows Profile information. You can even synchronize it to any cloud service and, if you so desire, make different backups of the saves.
It’s amazing and it’s pretty much completely automated. You can also set it up to only make backups of save games that were changed since the last time, so you’re not always uploading the same things over and over again to your cloud service.
I can’t live without it anymore.
Standing desks just so you can live an extra 2 years, you do know that they get added on the end, so instead of dying at 90, you’ll live to 92, hardly seems worth the hardship to be honest….. and they are the sucky years, where senility and arthritis will make you pray for death on a daily basis.
RIP
LONG LIVEWHISKEY MEDIA!Because Will apparently has a mouse with a crappy mouse wheel button. I remember the mouse button on my Logitech G5 being incredibly stiff when I first got it, so stiff that I avoided using the mouse button in games for months because it was unreliable. But eventually it loosened up and became usable.
