Do you have footage of building the backdrop? I would like to see that
Terrific video. Always look forwards to the shop tips and Joey’s how-to videos.
I would love to see more content like this, and please do not hesitate to geek out and dive deeper into the terminology and techniques, that is what I am here for.
Hmmm, i dont think so. (You’re talking about the maze i assume?)
Too bad – I really love it
sorry, we don’t have footage of that being built–it was made by a friend of ours in his workshop and installed while we were out on a production break. but we love it too!
Hmm, the 650 version is about the same price as your new light, but I’ve always been curios about these drop in LED replacements for ARRI fresnels http://visionsmith.com/relamp-system/?v=7516fd43adaa I really like the flexibility of this light though, throw a different adapter on depending on the location, and the role you need it to fill in your rig.
If you can find someone to do it with, I’d be interested in a long form podcast ish video comparing whats out there and the directions that both theatrical, and camera lighting are heading now that LED sources are more mature and available. (I’m pretty into the theatrical side of things, but would like to know how it compares and fits into the film side.)
Great content as always Joey, always love seeing what you’ve been up to behind the lens!
Awesome! I have been wondering about excatly this – so big thanks for the tour!
I always look forward to these. Great work, Joey!
Just two days after I asked for more of these videos in the survey … you guys are fast 😉
I’m astonished at how totally affordable this system is.
I see a lot of lighting tweaking at work (I’m on audio) and this video really helps demystify what the camera folks are up to.
Keep these coming Joey.
“What do you think of the lights?” TD
“They sound fine.” me
Joey, please slow down! You swallow so many of your awesome words! 🙂
These are my favorite Tested videos. Thanks Joey!
hey Joey, what was that huge, round LED flat panel I saw when I was there?
