Sweet. This should make for a nice break from the madness of the Bombcast.
I laughed at how dismissive Will & Norm are about Sony Move. I’ve heard next to nothing about it apart from pricing and some of the hardware.
Also, fuck Tycho & fuck Penny Arcade. They have as much to do with nerd culture as P. Diddy has with black urban culture.
You mean 2010. 😉
Love the Podcast!
So should I not be excited for Sony Move then?
Great podcast guys!
Not particularly excited for all the 3D that’s going on but it’s sounds like you guys had a blast!
Just a note on your discussion about PS Move and PS Eye. First off, you incorrectly stated some of the pricing options. Yes, the optional side controller is $30, but it is not required for all games. Further more, you can use your existing DualShock 3 or SIXAXIS controller to serve the same function by simply holding it your left hand, and using the left stick, the D-Pad, and the triggers.
Secondly, the camera that is used for Move is the PlayStation Eye. It is the exact same camera peripheral that has been around since 2007; there is no new “PS Move” version of the PS Eye. In addition to that, you stated that the camera is way more expensive that it actually is. Currently the PS Eye is $32 on Amazon, and I’ve routinely seen it on sale for $20 in the past.
