Why are users still having to post the direct links? They couldn’t just put it in the description?
Man, I wish so much that you guys got some interior pictures of that Giant Bomb E3 house. That is hilarious and the best part is they bring all these high-ups from the video game industry to something which is a borderline crackhouse. Micheal pachter, geoff keighley, Ed Boon, and David Jaffe so far. I was half expecting for Reggie to walk in.
and the Dicks conversation made my day. Sweet mother of god, it had me laughing.

btw, you have been able to pre-cache Google Maps for areas you have no mobile signal on Android for ages. I did it myself earlier this week when I was in the green hills of Wales where coverage is patchy at best.
**edit**
I guess this may previously have been a Google Labs feature before, but it has definitely been available to Android users for months, maybe even a full year.
Yikes. When I watched the streams I thought it looked kinda sketchy, but I just assumed they had rented out a small studio space or something. Thought the walls were just temp room dividers. I mean, it looks like that’s what this was, but… I wonder how much porn has been filmed in that place? 😀
Next year they should just rent out an extra large hotel room.
holy shit, people walking by outside really can just walk in. crazy!
also, that place totally looks like it should be in a prodigy video or something.
Never watch cruise ship blue man group, it is shit.
Fuck you Gary Whitta. I can’t stop watching Bait Car now. It’s like To Catch a Predator only faster.
I don’t understand why Will expects the 360 to hang around and the PS3 to go away once Sony and MS release their new consoles. The PS3 is going to be a great value Blu-Ray player/streaming video device for years to come, and you don’t have to pay $60 a year just to use NetFlix and Amazon Instant Video.
We do have Netflix in Canada now. It doesn’t have everything that you guys have but it’s gotten MUCH better in the last couple of months and I quite like it right now. Of course we are stuck with terrible internet quotas up here so that doesn’t help. Still, it’s actually a good value right now.
If you want to be scared shitless by taxidermy, visit the Fuchs Wildlife Exhibit in Lloydminster, AB. Google Image search it for just the smallest taste of the wonders that lie within. After fifteen minutes I started seeing movement, and had to confirm there were no animatronics. There is a circular nightstand table made entirely of deer/elk legs. (DO NOT google the name of the man who founded the exhibit because, well it’s totally unrelated and unpleasant.)
For the moment, usage based billing / bandwidth quotas are regional, not national, and mainly Bell. The dozen+ competing providers in Toronto have caps, the two competing providers (cable and phone) in the prairies do not. They do meter, but we’ve never seen overage fees from Shaw. A fair trade for upstream being capped at 60 kilobytes per second. XP
Yeah we had caps on Videotron in Quebec since they started cable service in 1998.
About Sony All-Stars, I don’t think it’s that they don’t have a good stable of 1st party game characters, because I believe many of those characters have been left in the the PS1 generation.
Also choosing between Xbox Live and PS+, I firmly believe that PS+ is the better value proposition. Both systems feature almost the same content, but the PS3 does not lock certain content behind their own subscription service. PS+ gives good amount of discounts and some pretty awesome free stuff. I don’t know what the real allure of Xbox Live.
There was a great paper a few years back called When Zombies Attack!: Mathematical Modelling of an Outbreak of Zombie Infection. The math was pretty basic, but it was highly entertaining. They had different models, e.g., taking into account that people might not show symptoms for some time after being affected, and in the end came to the conclusion that the best way to avoid a complete collapse of human society is to kill as many zombies as quickly as possible (who would’ve guessed).
