This got my nostalgia going.
I remember the first time I saw Mythbusters, watching the “Barrel of Bricks/Urinating on the Third Rail/Eel Skin Wallet” episode at a friend’s house in early 2004, when I was 16.
Immediately I was hooked, and I remember telling my mom about how awesome this show was when I was learning to drive later that year… and about how fun it was to watch the builds. I was saying that having a creative job where I could solve problems like that would be pretty amazing.
8 years later I was a design student in San Francisco, volunteering on the show.
Not sure I like the shaky cam style with random zooming. It’s kind of distracting.
Tested should make a mold of Buster’s face and sell copies! 😀 I’d get one. At least.
I think a mechanical drawing of the mythbuster’s re-engineered buster would be an awesome poster to add to the yearly tested poster collection!
Any chance there could be some 3D scans of a piece of Buster so people could 3D print a piece of history at home?
