From Restaurant At The End Of The Universe by Douglas Adams, describing the spaceship of Hotblack Desiato’s band Disaster Area.
Clearly it’s made of Vantablack.
Americans and germs.
Hilarious every time, toilets and beds, comedy gold.
thanks guys 😀
On the Neil Gaiman front: his novel American Gods has been adapted as a TV series and is currently in pre-production. Show runner will be Bryan Fuller of Hannibal fame.
I hope I’m wrong but I agree with Jeremy. Ghostbusters looks like it’s gonna be more Bridesmaids ish than ghostbusters….
Regarding Echo Dot, you can order it from Alexa which is both Echo and FireTV. So it’s not just thru an existing Echo.
, to solve the two Echo problem for now, just set them to different wake words. Yes workaround but probably less annoying then sending to both.
Did we get a link to the behind-the-scenes video on the proton pack builds?
I sadly agree. Kind of makes you wonder if the Ghostbusters sequel we all want will ever happen. To me it looks more geared towards a younger audience.

Sorry pasted it on the YT comments instead of here.
Can we please get some kind of a rule not to say OK GOOGLE or ALEXA on these podcasts?
It’s extremely strange when you set my devices off. 🙂 LOL
Thanks.
PS a couple weeks ago I almost missed a turn because Will set off my ok google while I was navigating with Waze and listening.
Science!

i am under the impression that comments can not contain a certain amount of numbers. i recently tried to convert some measurements from one of terry dunn’s articles into sane units, and no go either.
Like Jeremy’s shirt
now that i’ve finished the podcast, and on to grumpy internet opinions: i think the new ghostbusters looks substantially more ghostbusters than the new doom looks doom. not that that’s saying much, of course.
also, they cast hemsworth as the janine melnitz equivalent, and that alone is a funnier move than all the pushy/creepy sleazeball murray jokes in the first ghostbusters together.
Are there show notes with links to the stuff you’ve talked about somewhere?
The Mac v Gamer thing has been an issue since before i started using Macs in 1987. They do not want you mucking about in there. Macs are for hipsters not gamers. If they could legally add a self destruct i think they would.
I say this from a place of love.
