Podcast - Adam Savage Project
Week of Reflection – Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project – 9/3/19
After a particularly intense week, we regroup to talk about the ways in which we chilled and reset ourselves over the long labor day weekend. Norm recaps his trip to Galaxy’s Edge, Will read The Fall, and Adam shared his favorite cosplay he saw posted from Dragon*Con. Plus, an appreciation for the puppetry in the new Dark Crystal show.

Adam,
Thank you for talking about Jessie and sharing stories. Mythbusters introduced their large fanbase (including myself) to this talented woman who saw no boundaries. I am sorry for your loss.
I’ll have loads of DragonCon stories this week on This is Only a Test, but the Benny costume referenced was from John Ficker and his fiance Allie (Follow his work on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lonewolf1183). He used the compcooler that Adam recommended (and I use inside Mayor McCheese). They are super cool people. His skeleton Mando is also awesome. I saw the never ending story cosplay in person. There were wails and it made it even more unsettling. My personal fave was a Dire Straits cosplay from the Money for Nothing video carrying the TVs around. Plus there were the real Infinity Stones!
The Dark Crystal documentary is hidden; it’s found after the credits for episode 10. It’s funny because I actually sat through the end credits but not until the very, very end, which is when the link to the doc. appears.
Great, great series.
The pirate character that takes you onto the Millennium Falcon ride is from the animated Star Wars series. His name is Hondo Ohnaka, a fan favourite who crossed over from Clone Wars and into Rebels. He may yet appear in Resistance, and possibly even a live-action series. He could easily fit into the Kenobi series, if not The Mandalorian.
