Must resist the urge to start making paper airplanes…
YOU CAN’T RESIST IT!
I really enjoyed this. Hope there is more vids on this on tested.
love the video! going to try it out right now!
Love this. Love that the website is now basically fake out takes.
Here, have some poor ASCII art to show my love: <3
Good thing I live on the 14th floor, my paper airplanes will always travel far 🙂
Great video guys. Loved it.
This is my go to paper aeroplane design, now I know what it’s called!
these videos are pretty rad.
This was the first paper airplane design I ever used as a child. I had no idea it had a name. Awesome work, guys!
Very nice.
I made one along with the video and it flys better than any other plane I have ever made. Good Video.
Actually now it crashes a lot.
I can’t believe they made Norm use Yellow paper. THAT’S RACIST!
Oh snap, this is probably the smoothest flying paper airplane I’ve made! I like the flat nose too because when I was a kid I’d always get frustrated when the nose would get bent in.
I used to make planes very similar to this all the time in 5th grade. I never got that deep into it though…
Ha! That probably isn’t the reason why they are using yellow paper.
We need more people like John Colins in this world. Just knowing he exists makes me happy 🙂
The whole “Asian folding paper, just like Origami!” vibe didn’t set you off?!
o wow, thats actually the paper plane i make when i want to make one.
its really good, as you can see in the video.
My dad taught me this method and was the first and only paper airplane I knew about until a airplane throwing competition in 5th grade. I scoffed at the ‘dart’ design the other kids made.
I ended winning the competition.
I know I’ve said this before about John Collins… but what a great guy. He just seems so genuine.
John Collins is awesome! Norm did a great job of following his instructions as well.
I want his job…screw medical school 🙁
What has happened to this site?! The redesign is one thing, but now the video clips are just youtube clips and in typical youtube fashion they randomly refuse to load.
I wish all teachers were half as captivating as this guy. School would be so awesome!
Next endurance run?
Next endurance run.
This plane was easy to make and I had a lot of fun throwing it around my house.
I feel educated.
I used to make something similar in Poland, but now that I know the official tweaks behind it my plane skills have gone through the roof.
Awesome…
My dad taught me to make that exact airplane years ago when I was like 7-8 years old..
Never knew it had a cool name tho
Perhaps John Collins could replace Gary on the podcasts? Less asshole, more knowledge?
I made a Nakamura Lock F-22! I put the pdf in my dropbox if you want to make your own:

When you make the first fold keep the plane to the inside.
Edit: Ha ha, I should have Googled it first, duh. There’s all kinds of cool templates out there.
That was very fun to make along with the video.
Damn this is so fun, I managed to create a similar design using the same technique expect width wise on the paper, which flew alright but then decided to combine it with my original plane by just slipping it in. Which acted like a booster, maintaining a straight flight path and making the original plane fly further when they separated. Awesome video Tested!
