on one hand, i like the idea of kits like this: detailed, accurate, and made with both con safety and modification in mind. that’s a really well thought out proposition.
on the other hand, i can’t help looking at this and seeing what it could have been. for one, it could have been the original e-11. the designs in tfa strike me as much more missing the star wars aesthetic than the prequel trilogy’s. (but i see why it’s commercially more viable to go for the thing from the newest film) they could also have applied these standards and considerations to making casts of the parts that the original prop was made from, instead of making the prop into a kit directly. such a kit would be much closer to the list of parts norm hunted down for the dl-44 build with adam, but more affordable and workable for people without a metal shop.

Well looks nice but I wonder if you disassble it completely, there are 25 white parts… happy spraying. For paint you need those parts seperately
