The amount of facial expressions this bust can do with only 40 actuators (did I hear that right 40?) is amazing.
I thought the animation was almost cartoon-like and not realistic. I suppose that is what is needed for a Disney presentation though. It IS amazing but I would love to see what it looked like if dialed back and subtle.

Impressive stuff. How audible are the actuators when standing up close next to it? Not hearing them certainly lends more to realism. I’m curious if your mics just didn’t pick it up.
It’s rather unfortunate that the gentleman in the Hawaiian shirt never moved his left hand from behind Lincoln’s back, exactly where it would be if he were working a puppet.
I think what still makes to feel unrealistic is the speed of the eye movement; It’s too slow.
Also, the lack of tongue movements. Otherwise, pretty pretty pretty.. good.
