Adam and Tom walk through the many parts of Chewbacca, going over little-known details about how the original mask was designed and fabricated by Stuart Freeborn for Star Wars.

When Lucasfilm made Revenge of the Sith they should have used Tom for Chewie, because he doesn’t look quite right in that movie. This is the closest replica to the real Chewie I’ve ever seen.
Chewie’s face, elusive like Mona Lisa, missing the character one way or another after Peter Mayhew took the original mask off. To see it deconstructed and constructed like this with the likeness intact blows my mind. Wonderful work, loved this video! Thank you!
