Adam Savage and Broken Nerd’s Costume Build, Part 4

In the final episode of this build series, Adam and Darrell finish their lightsabers, add some weathering to their cloaks, and try on their costumes for the first time! Thanks for joining us in this journey documenting a one-week costume build. We’ll have more projects with Darrell in the future, and stay tuned for our next Tested premium member series!

  1. Excellent! This is also an odd question, but I recently left my day job to become a full time costumer and maker. An incredible motivation was Tested – is there a way I can get your measurements to send you or Adam a token of my appreciation?

  2. I’m glad we are going to get more build videos, love seeing Adam craft such cool and often unique things. Keep up the great work Tested

  3. Sweet! As long as you guys are not doing another fake lego build you can get me exited over even having a random stranger over, sorting Adams “Lockjam” by feel.
    The hype is real! 😀

This series was awesome by the way! Keep it up giuys!

  4. This was a great series. It’s nice to see when Adam said,”Ok time to commit.” He has the same reservations before cutting, drilling or gluing something. Darrel was great. I’d have been grinning the whole build.

  5. This was such a great series! It would be cool to see a big group collaboration project between several of the tested contributors and Adam

  6. I loved this series! But seeing Adam’s Martian helmet as he went up the stairs made me wonder what happened to the series of building the surface suit from that movie. Are we going to see that or was there some hick-up with scheduling or licensing from 20th Century Fox?

  7. I’m also a big fan of the idea of more colabs with the contributors and these guest builds, it really highlights the many facets of making and Adam’s enthusiasm in all realms of making. looking forward to more like this!

  8. I have a question. What is it specifically that inspires you to recreate things that have already been created, as opposed to coming up with new things that have never before been created? I am asking because it is so contrary to my way of thinking ever since I was very young. The thought that persists in my head is: “It’s been done, so why do it again?”
