Great podcast guys. Will’s face is priceless 🙂
Awesome!
I really love hearing Cmdr Hadfield call the Soyuz a “spaceship,” as opposed to a “capsule” or a “craft” or something else less fantastic sounding. The man flies actual spaceships!
Commander Chris Hadfield is so freakin calm and collected. And at the same time funny and down to earth. He is probably the coolest guy ever!
Great episode as always. You all sound exhausted, hope you had a fun week.
To which podcast is referring to? I would just like some context.
He is talking about last week’s Still Untitled, where they had some technical difficulties, Will forgot to cut that bit, so there are a few minutes where Will, Norm and Adam are off-screen trying to get things sorted.
I’m glad the issue of the Uggs was finally addressed here… That was something I was wondering about while watching the Incognito video… “Are they wearing *$^&@*#$ UGGS?!” I figured there had to be a basis for it, though.
I just got the new Kubrick Blu-Ray collection for my birthday, so we’ll be watching 2001 soon with particular interest in the lesser-known suit.
I never fail to get a big grin whenever I see Cmdr Chris Hadfield, would love to see him on the talking room at some point
To deal with lose of voice people in my hs musicals drink the weird aloe water it seems to help them through the week.
Great podcast. Although as a FF/Paramedic I am a little disappointed Adam said ambulance drivers.
Whilst in our college glee club “on tour” (more or less), failing voices was relatively common. Chloraseptic throat lozenges/spray was effective in masking the problem– you could sing, but would later pay for over-doing it. Chloraseptic is a mild anesthetic, so you don’t feel the damage you’re doing to your voice… until later.

Actually, The Heywood Floyds would make a pretty good band name too.
Thanks for the into re Earpeace
Now it’s my hope that Adam might do a One Daly Build and detail the cooling system! I know several Stilt Walker’s who could really use rigs like that during hot summer parades and festivals.
Cheers!
Thanks! I was confused because I thought he was talking about the Still Untitled where Adam said something that should’ve been cut out but it wasn’t, but that was some time ago. Also, I thought that everyone enjoyed the fiddling with the equipment!
I think we all did enjoy that 🙂 Though I thought it best not to check the Youtube comments, haha
Hi all!
Just loosely on topic: A link on HN came up that pointed to the Soyuz User’s Manual of Ariane Space: http://www.arianespace.com/launch-services-soyuz/Soyuz-Users-Manual-March-2012.pdf
Just thought you might be interested 😉
Cheers!
If you take antihistamines, take the newer generation ones, not clemastine or something, or you’ll fall asleep. Even then…
Commander Hadfield needs to be a regular fixture on tested. He’s just so damn badass!
