Love the original “Blade Runner” (kind of feel like Harrison Ford’s poor acting almost ruins it though — is there a cut that removes the Zhora and Deckard dressing room scene?). It is possible in my mind for “Blade Runner 2049” to be better than the first (I’ll miss Sean Young and Edward James Olmos). Looking forward to it.
I’m looking forward to seeing this. A few months ago I saw the final cut at my local theater, first time seeing any version at the theaters. Should I watch the shorts before seeing the new film? I haven’t watched any trailers and wont until after seeing the film.

I have watched the 2 live action shorts and they just set up what’s happened in between the films, there isn’t anything I would consider a spoiler in them. They’re character building for Leto and Bautista.

I heard they were both in it. Some papers reported that sean young came in for a few secret days and is unbilled. Olmos is listed as unbilled cast member in imdb. but not officially in the credits.
Adam Savage has a cameo in the Bautista one. Though I didn’t spot him.
The advanced reviews are starting to pop up and all the headlines are raving about how good it is.
Ugg how do I say this without spoiling anything. Um….. There is a bit of a tell “Notice” all boys in the orphanage have shaved heads and all girls have short hair. That’s all I’m saying.
