I’m a half hour from the space coast in central FL and was lucky enough to catch two of the last shuttle launches. I applied for that NASA social media pass for the final launch, but I didn’t get it 🙁
I saw an Atlas V launch from Cape Canaveral in 2016. Tried to see a Shuttle Launch around 2000 but no joy, and there’s a whole Ocean between here and there. Also don’t want to get into class but some of us don’t have dining rooms! Poor Will, I’d like to be sympathetic to you missing out on all the trips, you should return to tested and finishing making that De’Agostini Millennium Falcon which is the whole reason I bought a premium membership back then.
I do press photography of the launches in Florida and I can feel for you not getting to see the launch due to the fog. We don’t tend to get as many foggy days here but I have had several launches where weather has made it hard to get good shots. That plus the fun of having a launch scrub for the 3rd time in a row after you’ve set up cameras at the pad and you’re trying to stay awake at the viewing site at 2 in the morning can really test your love of space flight
I found a nice hill in southern LA and was able to see the launch Saturday, the Pixel2 camera surprised me with what it could see. https://i.imgur.com/Y3V7JPM.gifv

Hey Team. I live in New Zealand, so if you coming to see Peter Beck (Rocket Lab) launch, you welcome to sleep on my couch, LOL.
I am trying my hardest to get out to Mahia to watch a launch, but they are still a bit inconsistent in their launch schedule, at the moment. But I will get there at some point this year.
Adam, I was watching the flights of fancy episode of Mythbusters. Thinking of your love of space suits, have you made a replica of the suit that you actually got to wear to the edge of space? I know you said here that you were unable to buy one.
to follow up on Wills thought – I too did not know much about people until i started to take them apart.
BTW spare parts for sales – inquire for prices
Tested did something with David Chang? What’s that about?

They filmed a small series of videos with Dave and Traci Des Jardins at NASA about four years ago, where the chefs developed recipes using stuff the ISS astronauts had access to. Then Chris Hadfield made those dishes on orbit.
Also, there is an hour long episode of the Talking Room where Adam interviews David.
