Regarding your request for meditative spaces on quest – there are a couple of meditation apps which give you artificial landscapes and allow you to disable the music, guide and just let you meditate
You should have Wil and/or Anne on the show sometime!
Re: The Mandalorian: I have to say I absolutely love the background paintings (? or are they photos?) behind the credits.
Norm, you’ll probably dig this, it’s even more footage of the construction of Disneyland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rItAd9FuIDo

Watching the Mandalorian I’m immediately reminded of Genndy Tartakovsky’s Samurai Jack. Samurai Jack wore it’s influences on its sleeve: Kurosawa Samurai, Spaghetti Western, Anime, Comics, and Star Wars. (Samurai Jack also had a lone wolf and cub cameo)
George Lucas liked Tartakovsky’s style and recruited him for for the animated Clone Wars. There’s a tangled circle of influence here that I’d try to put into a diagram if I had the time.
