Back in Wellington – Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project – 2/18/20
We’re back in Wellington, New Zealand this week at one of our favorite places in the world, Weta Workshop! Richard Taylor and sculptor Johnny Fraser-Allen graciously guest on the podcast to catch us up on what they’ve been working on, share fun stories of past projects, and as always inspire us with their enthusiasm and love for the creative process.

I wish you guys would maybe look at other parts of New Zealand sometime, there is so much more to it than Wellington.
Nice talk ! Very fun and interesting.
Makes me very envious of meeting all these fine folks here at Weta. ^^
In regards to the first few seconds of the video…New Zealand has some of the most restrictive immigration policies out there. Hope you have some substantial cash in the bank and are a person of “white” ancestry.
Hm. Interesting take. Asian East Auckland and the largest Pacific Island community in the world may want a word with you to disagree on some of the specifics.
But yes, we’re a small country and have some immigration rules. But if you think we’re tricky, try moving to the USA! 😉
I also second the “getting out and about” thing. Adam would LOVE the Tranzalpine train ride across the alps in NZ’s South Island, for example, and Norm could get lost for days at the engineering school in Christchurch or the Cora flying taxi tests down there…

(Oh, this is probably the right audience for this: NZ has a major, major construction and infrastructure boom going on, and lots of job opportunities for trades and building trained people, especially in Engineering and construction. If you’ve got build skills, and you’re on this list, you’re pretty much in the door.)

Any chances of a Wellington Tested fan meetup?
I only just got to this a week late but what a great conversation. I’m starting to think we need longer podcasts to fit everything in 🙂
