I like how almost NO ONE (including Norm/Will) took two seconds to see that the current Zune pass is also £8.99. There’s also a screen floating around of an Xbox Music pass US price of $9.99, the same price of the current Zune pass.
JOURNALISM!
Al this talk of Bang Bros got me thinking: Tested should become a Bang Bros affiliate. You guys could be a bonus site and get a cut of that sweet, sweet monthly subscription money.
Is this up in the iTunes feed yet?
Hearing the ‘waiting in line for an iPhone’ story saddens me greatly.
oops
Not sure if this got mentioned, but for me the itunes feed is just a repeat of episode 140
Xbox Music is basically just a rebranding on Zune Pass anyways…. $9.99 is kind of a given. $14.99 for us “lucky” people grandfathered in the old credit system still.
Sorta odd, it sounded like they were very consciously calling the enterprise “she,” and while I believe the US Navy/NASA style guides still call for ships to be called “she,” both the AP style and the Chicago style call for genderless “it.” I’m probably only noticing this because I’m taking a technical editing course at the moment.
Death by army ants for larger animals is often due to asphyxiation…as they crawl inside the mouth and nose and hemorrhage your lungs from the inside.
Another option of death by army ants is by small cuts in your skin. It’s not a death of a thousand papercuts. Instead, other ants crawl into these very convenient holes and cut up more flesh under the skin.
Also, ants represent in total roughly 15% of all terrestrial animal biomass…so like 1/6th of all animal matter is ant. And they farm, ranch, mine, enslave, rebel, and make war.
Exactly. Why this was ever news to begin with is beyond me.
I guess I’ve just become a lot more conscious about this stuff, especially after going through every piece of written material at my office and changing the word “freshman” to “first-year.” And the front desk did also become trained to stop saying freshman too.
Re: Layaway – it’s generally a one-time cancelation fee, and they put it back on the shelf. I had a friend who put a ten cent bottle of glue on layaway for shits and giggles, then forgot about it.
