This Is Only A Cave?
Norm’s Man Cave
Norm, Windows Phone 7.5 doesn’t have dual core processors. Mango phones got a bump to 1.4GHz from 1.0GHz, but they’re still single core.
Also, I know Loyd is a smart guy and everything… but I still think it’s bull shit that his wife’s phone hasn’t been updated. I have literally never heard of that at this point. Unless it’s a specific SKU problem, the LG Quantum most definitely has Mango.
I like Norm as the host.
Love the show, but the echo and audio quality makes this REALLY hard to enjoy.
Norm makes an excellent host; better than Will, IMO.
Also, that being said:
“Right?” – Loyd
I wasn’t expecting a podcast at all this week so this was a nice surprise. It was great hearing Loyd back on the podcast as well.
Amateur hour! Love it, this should be a regular thing.
About that mini itx pc you were investigating.
One of my local enthusiast hardware sites just built one like that.
I think it might be exactly that asus board you were talking about, paired with a i7 3770 and a GTX 690 all inside a silverstone sugo case.
Here is the article translated to english if you are interested in reading it.
sweclockers.com – Monster computer in Mini ITX format
Also, overclocking with a 3470 is proably a nono since it doesnt have an unlocked multiplier.
great podcast. Really well done, audio issues faded away after listening for awhile.
does a great job as a host here, keeps things moving along well!
