Always good to have Joey on the podcast.
Joey on the podcast, Awesome!
That makes sense for them to buy it for you to test out for the website…
Nevertheless, I still found his comment hilarious.. 😉
Yep! It’s good to see him sitting at the table..
I could care less if they eat during Octobercast. Throw them rules out for marathons.
You “could” care less? I don’t understand the point of that, aren’t you trying to say you have no interest in whether they eat and it makes no difference to you? If so, shouldn’t the saying be “I couldn’t care less”?
See this video for more details on this subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om7O0MFkmpw
I’ve seen the Microsoft Surface Pro on Supernatural, Grey’s Anatomy, and Arrow, all within the same week.
I’m sure its been on other shows too.
I tried looking for the books “He” and “She” but came up with the author Robert A. Johnson. Didn’t Adam say the author’s name was Yung?
Carl Jung was a psychiatrist and psychotherapist who essentially founded analytical psychology. Many of his ideas had profound influences on almost all scientific, cultural and artistic movements of the 20th century. The books you are looking for are influenced by Jung, but not written by him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Jung
I knew immediately what the link was :p David Mitchell is fantastic.
Bart : so ralph ? how are the berries ? …. Good ?
Classic 🙂
Audio levels are low to the point of being unlistenable.
It sounded good to me, what are you listening on? You can always turn it up 😉
Walter Murch was the Cold Mountain editor, and he is a fucking editing philosopher. He edited all the (good) 70’s Coppola movies (Godfather films, The Conversation, Apocalypse Now) and did the sound for THX1138, among many other things. His book, In the Blink of An Eye, is well worth a read. I remember his Final Cut video, and the Coens also did one about color grading O Brother in Final Cut, if I remember correctly.
Audio levels were way too low for this weeks episode. I could barely hear anything in the car (and yes audio on phone and even car were turned up max) and I’ve had no issues with previous episodes (plenty loud)…
Will seemed to think that DLNA was solely for re-encoding video. This is not true. You can use it to stream media all over your network to devices. Transcoding kinda has nothing to do with it and is just something some people do to play non-compliant files.
I also LOL’d hard at “you shouldn’t listen to custom soundtracks because people worked hard to make the score.” I’m glad Joey was there to be like, yeah, no. When you play games for a really long time (I’m talking like muliplayer shooters, fighting games, racing games where people are racking up hundreds of hours on the gameclock) it’s annoying to hear the same music over and over again. Especially when it’s not even songs you chose/like.
Volume’s not enough on a tablet with weak speakers…I ended up running the mp3 through Audacity and got the levels up.
While I do agree with Renee and trying each spicy pepper, in restaurants this does not happen in reality. I know Renee and she is a stupendous Chef, but her restaurants are petite restaurants in scale comparatively to most. We have 375+ seats at my job and go through 1000’s of hot peppers a week. There is no possible way to try everyone of them.
I think you bumped a gain knob while plugging in joey’s headphones.
