Did I hear a reference to MST3K “Deep Hurting” in there?
The moment JIBO shows a red dot in the middle of that black round screenface it’l be unplugged before it can unplug me 🙂
I’d rather buy per show rather than by network.
I hope they do some coverage with windows phone 8.1 in the bear future because I do think it’s pretty good now.
Microsoft never should have bought Nokia in the first place. Uppity-ups in the corporation should be fired for this disaster..
that jibo thing looks like it belongs in aperture science. It’s scary
Synthesize this!
Now I want to start some kind of pinball investment fund. Who wants to store and maintain a few hundred pinball machines for me!? (I’m only slightly joking….)
Another great show, where to start…
I can’t wait to see what Adam’s print is.
I like how Norms explanation of what a salamander is to a kid is “it’s like a newt” like they know what a newt is, also a newt IS a salamander.
Will mentioned possibly using the Printrbot for a mystery build. In my experience, time lapse with a Printrbot it rough since the build platform (and print) are moving from side to side.
Months ago Jeremy was on the show talking about his desktop cutter and Norm suggested doing a segment on it. I would love to see that thing in action, and find out more.
I love Windows phone 8. The problem is the software. There is none.
Regarding the Comcast nonsense. Should have asked if they could invoice them for the time to go through their stupid Q&A flowchart.
ah, thanks for the reminder about jeremy’s paper cutter!
Enjoyed the Episode, but have a big issue with the incorrect information being expressed by about the Telsa Model X being the same as the Model S.
The Model X may well have a similar platform as the Model S, but it is by no means the same –particularly power-train wise!
The biggest, most important, difference is the addition of an additional motor!
The Model X is designed to be All Wheel Drive (where the Model S is only Rear Wheel Drive)… and for someone who lives in a climate where AWD is a serious benefit, this is something I have been waiting for and will be watching very closely!
In fact, I will be the most excited when an EV that is 4 door sedan sized (rather than SUV sized) with AWD is announced, because I will be first in line!
This was a great podcast, guys, I’m waiting for the video of Norm assembling a Game Frame, though 😉
What is the XKCD they are talking about at the start?
Yeah, what ever happened to that?
I wonder if Jeremy nixed the idea?
Game Frame backers got a video of me building one in record time (10 minutes). I was reserving my Norm help ticket until I was ready to start boxing. Maybe when they’re back from Comic-Con I can borrow him for a packing timelapse.
Hey, thanks for letting us know, Jeremy.. 😊
I want a gif of Norm being Jibo asap Internet!
The fact that we are on Episode 265 and the three of you still “dance” to the opening music is so cute. It kinda makes me smile watching you guys do an opening jig.
This podcast had me laughing so hard when he did the ‘Ok, Google’. It actually made my voice search pop up. I hope this doesn’t become a thing like rick-rolling though.
JIBO + R2-D2 Builder’s Group = MAGIC!!!!!
Props to Will for using “developing countries” rather than third world countries, which many others seem to do. It’s a silly cold war era term that’s pointless very non-descriptive (Sweden was a third world country..)
I feel like I’m already behind the times, and I’m only 29. I like my Asus X55.
Jibo service is going offline. No more sandwich.
